I ended up getting 8 webbing clamps to align the hull and deck of my Guillemont. I found that I couldn't generate enough force with tape to pull the seam into allignment but once aligned the tape could hold it there. I would put all 8 of the clamps in an area with 1" spacing between them, crank the ratchets until things come togetner, and then tape between the webing. Then I just shifted the webbing down and started on a new area.

Some tips:

1. I got clamps at a wooodworkers warehouse for $2.50 each. Cheap and worked fine

2. Cut your hatches first as you will need to reach inside to help with alignment.

3. The ratchets can generate a lot of force. If the seam isn't lining up don't keep cranking you can crush the seam. Back it off and start again.

4. Wedges can help exsert inward preasure.
