Hi Dave,

Its a very workable idea, but if you staple the plywood to the forms you must either fiberglass over the staples (which would be unsightly and hard to take off the forms) or try to glue the panels together enough (very hard to do with a lot of curvature and stress) to remove the staples before glassing. My suggestion would be to use the form to define the shape and size of the panels (Like building a stripper)and then stitch and glue them together before glassing. Kind of a combo kayak (or very close to a lapstrake) But it sounds like an interesting idea...
