I finally started stripping my 18 foot canoe schooner. A friend suggested sticking the strips together with Gorilla Glue. It expands nicely and fills any voids. I seem to be getting some glue on the sides of the boat. Has anyone worked with this type of glue? Can you suggest a way to remove the glue from the sides of the boat. I tried a paint scraper with good success... slow going though.
