Hi, I have just completed epoxying the deck reinforcing plates onto my Atric Tern. As I was trimming the plates flush with the panels, I noticed that no epoxy flowed under one corner of one of the plates (approx 3/4" x 3/4" void).
I think that this particular corner will receive a lot of stress since it is in an area of the deck just behind the seat where I would normally push on as I eased myself into the kayak.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks for getting epoxy to flow into a void like this? The plate is sealed down pretty tightly right now except for this corner, which has a slight gap, thinner that a toothpick, into which I need to inject epoxy (somehow).
