Chris, After writing this message Friday, I went back to work before reading everybody's suggestions. I first cut several pieces of scrape lumber the same size as the form where I wanted to push. I used three in the cock pit area and 2 on either side of the hatches fore and aft. I was able to easily line up the seam on about 90% of the length each side. The only place I could not get it perfect was about a foot near the ends. I then went to work taping the hell out of it. Some areas I had my son help with a putty knife as I taped. When I finished there wasn't a spot on the boat that didn't have tape on it. Saturday morning just before I glassed the seam inside I pulled the scrape lumber. Thank God for friction. It all held in place. Taped both seams Saturday and pulled the tape off Sunday. After removing the tape I have a few spots that shifted a little but I dont think it will be a problem. I'm going to sand them out and fill the worst areas with a couple coats of epoxy before glassing. All the tape on the outside was a real pain to get off but I got it off the Goof off. Nasty stuff wear a respirator and open the windows.
