I'm running into a problem drilling the strapping holes for the hatches on my GE 13. When I cut the hatches, the instructions called for the cut to be at least 1 1/4 inches from the shear seam. At some points that's all the distance there is. Now, when it comes time to drill the 3/16 holes for the screws, the directions call for drilling it at least 1 1/4 inches from the edge of the hatch. Obviously that would be right at the shear seam, not good! How close can I drill to the hatch or the shear seam before I compromise the structural integrity? Any advise appreciated. Nancy
