I appreciate all of the comments, and I truely think they needed to be said. Sorry Nick as I hadn't gotten that far in the book just yet. Been reading it cover to cover and I still would have asked the questions even then. I've been seeing more and more folks coming up with the same problem and lots of great advice on how to repair the ?damage? and thought I myself and maybe a lot of others could benefit from some advice on how NOT to have that problem. I've seen a lot of different items from Auto fenders to R/C model airplains being fabricated out of F/G and when they were out of the molds and ready to put on or together, they were a perfect fit. Just didn't make sense. Know what I mean. I had in mind that leaving them on the forms a tad longer might do the trick, but, I don't know from nothin, so, I hoped to hear ya'll say it. Thank you. So, A good idea to use might be to build a second strongback with forms or possibly just half forms to rest one or the other halves of the boat on while working on the other? With all that brain power being expended on 6"x6" panels of glass and plywood just to see it crack, I was sure you could help me with this little problem. And George, thanks, but I was married once and I know about pressure and abuse. I almost got to liken it. That's why the Man gave me BIG shoulders, and the Judge, a divorce. Lee.........Hmmmmmmm!!
