Raka sent me of sample of that glass and I didn't like it. I also had some 3 oz. normal cloth to compare with. The Raka tight weave stuff captures air bubles under the glass because there's no where for them to escape where the normal weave stuff did not due that. Very slow wet-out also. I ended up wetting the wood first and putting the glass on it because the epoxy would not want to pass through it. I sent them a letter about it and a sample of the normal weave glass that I use on my deck (stripper) and suggested them to try both and compre the results.

The bonding of glass is also dependant on the epoxy having something to grab on to as well. The epoxy goes between the weave like a chain link fence. You also compramize this part as well with that tight weave glass. I would highly recommend that you do not use it.
