curious thing about most nylon skirts is the lack of give, if it's loose water puddles, if it's tight it constricts movement in a roll or pops off, last time I was launching out from a beach north of Santa Barbara ,nylon skirt popped and a big wave dumped a seaweed salad in my lap. Not too sure about these skirts that are nylon with stiff foam inside, neoprene is fairly dependable. The standard practice of putting pump and paddle float on deck seems to ensure the repurchase of same.
