> Thanks for the help so far. I have decided to go with buying plans with individual full size station printouts. I want to ease my way into this and think cutting the forms myself will allow me to get more comfortable around my new boat yard (i.e. corner of the basement). I plan to use Mike Allens suggestion I picked up in the archive for using the blocks and wedges and the drilled holes to line up the stations. Anyone have experience with this? What about internal stems. Nick's book doesn't push them but Tom Moores' does- any thoughts? Also, the Great AUK appears to have a fairly flat deck (i.e. two flat planes meeting at a center line) can I easily use strips with no bead/cove on this boat (and make fitting strips easier). And finally, I realized xmas is coming up! I can just farm my tool wish list out to my extended family as gift ideas! (I can just see my mother-in-law going into Home Depot and trying to buy a random-orbital-sander- I'll probably end up with a weed-wacker!) Thanks for your suggestions. Rick
