What about internal stems. Nick's book doesn't push them but Tom Moores' does- any thoughts? Also, the Great AUK appears to have a fairly flat deck (i.e. two flat planes meeting at a center line) can I easily use strips with no bead/cove on this boat (and make fitting strips easier). And finally, I realized xmas is coming up! I can just farm my tool wish list out to my extended family as gift ideas! (I can just see my mother-in-law going into Home Depot and trying to buy a random-orbital-sander- I'll probably end up with a weed-wacker!) Thanks for your suggestions. Rick
