Very cool -- I think the bent lamination looks better than the scarfed shaft and must be a good deal stronger. Of course if you went with REAL paddle, and by that I mean the narrow-bladed native style, you wouldn't have to bother with all that work in feathering;-) I may try making a Greenland-style paddle with 'glass blades.
