Also, don`t forget about the eastern shore of Lake Superior from Sault Ste. Marie, Canada to Wawa is terrific- beautiful, rugged, and sparsely populated. There are destinations along the shore with great names like Cape Gargantua and Devils Warehouse, and Indian Pictographs too!
