Lets not forget his 1-star reviews of Nick Schade's book, as well as "Illustrated Guide to Wood Strip Canoe Building" by Susan Van Leuven. There's several other books out there as well that he hasn't "reviewed" yet. You have forgotten to slam "Building a Jawbone Kayak", "The Aleutian Kayak", "Baidarka: The Kayak", and a slew of others. Can hardly wait for those reviews. But seriously, can you really ask Ted Moores, Nick or others to provide all the information needed to build a boat that is "strong enough for your purpose"? How do they know the particular paddling conditions every reader will use their boat in? Isn't this assuming that the author knows every reader personally? The only person who could write a book with that knowledge is George himself, since he'd be the only one who'd read it. He's just full of himself enough to know himself very well indeed.

Next time I go to buy a commercially built boat, I'll be sure to ask the folks at Prijon, Perception, etc. if they've adequately tested their design and materials for my purposes. After they get done laughing at me, maybe I'll still buy the boat.
