After reviewing the BBS archives for logo advice, I've decided to print a logo onto thin tissue (or tracing) paper and apply it the deck of my Artic Tern. Since I'm not quite to that building stage yet, I have time to search for an appropriate logo.
An Eskimo artistic logo with relatively simple lines might be striking and appropriate for my kayak.
I've tried searching for such patterns on the internet, but so far I'm finding only sculptures, not patterns that I can copy.
Does anyone have a lead on where I can find such patterns (traditional eskimo or modern)?
I'm also wondering about which color to use. The Artic Tern has a nice deep brown color so a black logo might not show up well. Has anyone tried a non-black color logo against a dark brown deck? How did it work out? Did the colors run? Anyone have pictures of their finished logo?
Thanks in advance for your responses,
