> Thanks Todd You'd better elaborate Todd, by default Autocad draws everything in the x,y plane unless you go into 3D or specify a z parameter. The word "plot" in Autocad is an output command which sends your drawing to a plotter or a printer.
Now there is a "point" command and if you start at 0.00,0.00 you can place points at x and y locations relative to 0.00,0.00. These points are called nodes and lines can be drawn joining them.
