Hey Paul, just a couple of ideas for you. One is as book called "Through Indian Eyes" published through the Reader's Digest (check your Library). Another is a magazine called "Native People's" (check Barnes amd Nobles). Also. do a Lycos search of -artwork native people northwest or American Indian. Your library should have books of northwest indiginous artwork as well. As for the colors, use the colors of the original artwork (yellows, reds, blues, and blacks). the wood can be stained to get what you want or look for exotic species and play with them. A little splash of color on the wood deck might surprise you. Tom
