I have front and rear water tight bulkheads in my guillemot. But to ensure safety I still use float bags in both compartments. I have heard too may stories of hatchs comming off in big surf or a bungie failure. This way you use the bulkheads as primary flotation and have a backup for the weak link (hatches)
