Gougeon Bros. (West System) have MSDS's online for all their products. No mention of silicosis due to acute or chronic exposure to this product, but it makes sense to avoid or reduce breathing dust of any kind by taking proper safety precautions. In this case all it takes is a simple dust mask rated for nuisance dusts. Colloidal silica has a "slight" health risk (1 on a scale of 0 to 4, 0 being "minimal" and 4 being "severe").
