Hi Pete, one question, why would you want to completely hide the beauty of the wood under paint? I was also wondering if you considered using some of the multi-colored stains that are avialable? I was thinking of trying that on my next 'yak, and don't think I'll have any of the adheision problems i would with paint. Don't know for sure though. anyone tried this? Would did you use and how did it work? Tom.
