Hi Kent, I'm thinking 12.75 spacing throughout. If that gives me a bit more room in front of the cockpit cutout, I'll just install a knee tube up there.

My wife isn't totally enthusiastic about boats, so my #3 boat will be a double Guillemot (I'm going to scale up a single 1.25 times). Hopefully, she'll want #4 which can be a normal Guillemot 17.

I told her I wasn't going to build the double before my next single, since she won't paddle with me until the water warms up in the spring anyway. (I went out Saturday and Sunday--Saturday I was testing my cold-water paddling wear--swimming around in 45* water)
