I know alot of people may disagree, but I exclusively use a bandsaw. I only lose about a 1/32" of an inch in dust, when compared to a table saw of 1/8th" of an inch. I read some where that for every 4 boards cut on a table saw, one turns to dust. Wood is really expensive, I would rather not sweep it up of the floor. As well the band saw can be set as accurate as a tablesaw. Food for thought
