Yup.

I attended a "seminar" put on by MAS last spring. The MAS rep stated that they used ketsup/mustard pumps, and that because they bought so few, the pump manufacturers wouldn't build "special" epoxy pumps for them.

These are nothing more than a "positive displacement" pump with "cup" seals and check valves. The pumps for both resin and hardener are the SAME, except for a stop to limit the travel on the hardener pump. The stop is just a piece of roughly cut plastic tube. There is little "calibration" in these pumps.

For large batches they are probably OK, for small batches I use a 10 ml syringe. I recently mixed a batch by the drop, 2 resin, 1 hardener, worked fine.

----- The pumps are not much different than the ketsup pumps used at your local hot dog stand and there is no reason to believe anyone did additional engineering to make them more accurate than neccessary to dispense a little mustard.
