There are a few women woodworkers out there though. On the WOOD discussion boards there are some women participating. More craft stuff I think, scrollsawing and the like. There was an article in WOOD last month on an American Indian woman who makes turned drums. Id like to see more of them. I may be flamed for this, but I think typically women are more artistic than men are. I know my wife can draw and create interesting ideas better than I can. It's a little hard to get her input on boats though, so my strip ideas are a little simplistic. I tend to think in terms of the building process as well as the final pattern, and look for asthetics and ease. She doesnt care how hard it is to make, just do it...
