Richard,

What a coincidence! I'm in the process of building and Outer Island, and I, too, have size 12 feet. Given that I am still in the strip-laying process, I haven't been in it yet, so I don't know for sure whether there's enough room. I took Jay Babina's suggestion and added an extra 1/2" to 3 of the forms to give a little more room. The 1/2" was added to the 3 forms just in front of the cockpit, and I added 1/4" to the 4th form to get it to blend smoothly to the foredeck. All you have to do is cut the forms at the shear line, raise the top part, and tape them back together. When you get the forms, you can put the one nearest your foot position, form #6, up against a wall with your feet to get a feel for how much room there will be. Just add a pinch of space to taste. That's one of the benefits of building a stripper...

If you have any questions about the building process, just ask. I can help you out, but Jay Babina is very obliging to e-mail requests for information and is probably a better source.
