That's mainly what I'm concerned about is being able to get ahold of it to pull it back out as I'm trying to test fit it. I've thought about glueing strips perpendicular to the strip and then trimming them off afterward.

Removing the deck is also what I'm trying to avoid. I put duct tape on the hull shear strip, then I hot glued the deck shear strip to the forms and to the hull shear strip approx 3 spots between each form. I'm not sure whether or not hot glue is the way to go since the curved wood by the forward and rear cockpits makes the wood try to pull away from the forms. This is because of my design and shouldn't happen if the strips were installed like a normal pattern would be. I'm going to have to glue blocks with holes in them to the inside of the deck along the sides and then pull the sides in with wire to hold them in place when I'm ready to fiberglass the deck.
