Hi Jason, Who's materials did you use? My first thought is it sounds like you may have had trouble with pot life. Not really sure more explanation is needed. Were temperatures to high? How much did you mix at a time? I used MAS epoxies and found it great. I must confess my wood working skills are better than my epoxy skills as well. My wet out coat came out beautiful but filler coats were not as good. I used alot more materials than an expert would in order to get a smooth surface (apply and sand, apply and sand). My biggest problem area was the shear seam. If I had been more careful about putting deck and hull back on the form, it probably would have came out much better.
