3/8 half round brass strip would be nice. I've used two layers of Dynel on top of two layers of glass. Kevlar would look fuzzy whenever it abraded, go for Dynel,soaks up resin like crazy and will out last glass tremendously for abrasion. The trick is to put the stuff just right where the wear is, 4" strip onto a 16" strip.or thereabouts
