A few months ago, someone posted a link to a different car, also wood strip construction, and I think the wood was mahogany. I thought that one was even cooler than this one (more uniformity in the color, as I remember). What with those two cars and Pete's pickup topper, I'd say the Big Three automakers are being made to look bad.
