Shawn, there's a book out there about making fiberglass whitewater kayaks, it is based on an individuals masters thesis about 15yrs ago. The good folks on this board keep a better track of titles than me, my copy is under laundry from the summer. anywho it is a very good comparison of different layups in a polyester/vynelester matrix. it got me inspired to panel whacking.
