I have an ancient Folbot, with wooden framework. It is the two-seat, seventeen-foot version, and the framework is not at all tricky to understand or indeed to copy. If you are within range of Manchester, you are very welcome to come and make your own templates/measurements from it, and see how the whole thing functions. The whole thing (including skin) packs into two kitbags and a small holdall - it has in the past travelled on planes.
If you are far from Manchester, then it may be possible for me to do some tracing/photography for you. Let me know. Richard
