You may remember my 'convince the wife on the finances' issue I was concerned about....well, I found out that my wife likes me more than money. When I told her I was gonna buy a table saw to avoid paying $500 for pre-cut strips she pointed out all of the ways that I've hurt myself in the last 12 months and told me to 'Go and pay the money, so you dont lose and fingers'
So, looks like I may buy C&B strips for boat number one.
- How many full length strips should I buy, they seem to be 'required' for the sheer line to act as a starting line. Or does scarfing to full lenght work. - should the whole deck be full length (as much as possible) - Are scarf lines visable (if done tightly)? do I care? - Any suggestions on getting 17-18 foot strips home? - how much extra length should I get (as a % of serface area I guess)
Thanx again Chris -hope to stay ten fingers- menard
