Thanks guys. It looks a lot better wet out as in the previous pictures than it does as dry sanded wood. Thats why I can't wait to get the fiberglass on it.
It's hard to get good pictures in the dark basement. I can't wait until it's all finished and I can get some pictures outside in the sunshine. Oh wait, this is Seattle, I'll have to load it up and go somewhere else if I want pictures in the sunshine. :-)
I took the deck off the forms tonight. It was tricky getting it loose from the forms since it was stuck with hot glue in a few unaccessable areas. I just worked it slowly all around and put 1/4" blocks in between the deck and hull until it eventually let go. I had to take it off so I can put wax paper between the deck and hull because I want to have it on the forms when I fiberglass it. I don't want to fight with the deck and hull later when it comes time to fiberglass them together. Once I fiberglass the outside, I'll use ross' method of holding the width with sticks when doing the inside.
