Hi Ross,

Now I have to go weigh mine. I used varnish on the paddle even though most the articles I've read say no finish. I like the varnish and I figure if it proves to be to slippery, I'll apply a little Sex Wax. I got the idea from Nantahala Outdoor Center. I'll let you know what mine weighes in at.
