When ever I use tape i end up cutting off the sides that have the lock weave on them.

It would probably be too much trouble to cut all your tape from cloth I know I can't cut in a straight line for 16 feet. but you could use pieces? I guess, i don't think there is a strengh issue, correct me if i am wrong. But it would be definately easier to use pre cut stuff.
