Epoxy drips and so forth...

Hello!

I recently became interested in building a kayak and with minimal kayaking experience and zero woodworking/epoxying experience, a friend and I managed to produce two stich & tape boats that go fast and track straight. However, especially with my boat, due to much haste and lack of experience, the sides particularly have many epoxy drips. The obviously gives the boat a 'homebuilt' look -without any of the good connotations of that word! What options, if any, are available to me? Is there any sort of magic product on the market with which I can make everything smooth or am I left sanding each drip one by one? Or is there a third alternative (such as making a nice bonfire and starting from scratch) that I haven't yet thought about. Comments greatly appreciated!
