It took me about 100 hours over a six week period to complete my Coho. Finishing was another story, mostly waiting on weather, and lots of time wet sanding the boat, and between coats of varnish. The humidity in S. Louisiana is not very appropriate for painting or varnishing. This meant waiting for good low humidity days to varnish. I was however paddling the boat in between.

I only have good things to say about the boat, and seem to spend more time at boat landings telling people about the boat than paddling.

Have fun building the firt one, It probably won't be the last, most people get hooked.
