Hi Hank, I saw a TV program a while back ( I think it was New Yankee Workshop) where Norm built a table with a vacuum. It was a real nice setup. I know you can get plans but I'm not sure how. I have a Royobi Table saw that has a spot for the router. I was to cheap to but the router kit and elected to set it up myself. I took a long piece of 1" pine the length of the fence and cut a dado big enough for the router bit in the middle. behind the pine I boxed in the area between it and the fence. On top of the box I cut a hole and stuck a 1-1/2" PVC elbow and connect my vacuum to it. It works great! I'm sure you could do something similar on a router table. I'm hoping to get a digital camera this week If I do I take a shot of the setup.
