NOC in northcaroline has both minicell and ethaofoam. It looks like you are looking to spend about $30-35 bucks on minicell or about 20ish for ethafoam.

the other option for seats is to make a custom glass seat. It probably takes about the same amount of time and is pretty tough to mess up where you can't fix it. I used about 6 layers of scrap 6 oz cloth. I sat in a cardboard book full of sand, lined the impression with saran wrap and glassed over that. Also made a positive mold so that I could make more in the future for future yaks.

Might be another seat option.
