I'll add my two cents about the boat weights. Last summer I bought a new Perception Eclipse. When I demo'd the boats, the dealer had all three versions there - polyethylene, fiberglass, and kevlar. I bought the kevlar, not because I expected better performance but, after picking up all three, I knew I'd get more on-the-water time with the kevlar because it was going to be easier to get on and off of the mini-van. If I'm going to have to use my aging muscles to work, it's going to be while I'm ON the water, not getting to and from it. Dennis
