I can't say I see any problems with this arrangement. It should be possible to calculate if it will work or not. You say you have 10 inch risers. Do the top edges of the risers correspond to any of the critical lines on the plans? Maybe they align with the waterline . . .or the one inch waterline . . . or the two inch waterline. Compare how high your bow form rises above the chosen line. As long as it is enough less than the riser height to allow for the overhang of the wood strips themselves, you should be OK
