Likewise to you. I hadn't truly realized the work that must go into a stripper until I checked your pages and saw you tapering the strips for the bow. Wow. And I thought the s&g was work.
It's a hoot watching the pile of wood turn into a boat. My wife wouldn't except for seeing a friend's boat. My biggest moment was when I laid the bottom panels side by side for the picture and realized that this was the actual, honest to God dimensions of the boat. It seemed much narrower than it should be, so I went and remeasured the offsets. All good, or at least the same from side to side. I guess it's my butt that's grown too wide over the winter.
There's a lot of back slapping on this board, and with good cause. I haven't run into any suprises (yet, I know there's still a lot to go). Part of it is having good guidance from CLC, but the most of it is the wealth of web pages and postings to this board.
Lurkers, go get a plane, some plans, and usurp your living room or basement. Spring is still a ways away.
