kind of, so the boat is pretty much finished,glassed,epoxied,the deck is on and at this spot that is right below the coaming at it's widest point: on the chine? in the side panel? there is a 4-3/4" x 1/2" hump?. Is this "hump" how the panel is shaped? How is this 1/2" being measured, with one edge of the 12"ruler on the top and the other edge laying on the deck? Or 1/2" assymetry from the center line of the boat? I'd hold off on suggesting remedies without knowing what humps where. Slicing a 1/2" doesn't make sense as that would make a small football sized hole, if any of the lack of fairness is in the shear clamp then there's not much to to there as the deck is on. Still a mystery, it's possible that he stitched,glued and glassed with one panel severely overlapping the other at the chine but a 1/2"? Don't leave me hanging-lee
