Hi Guys,

I am not sure how much water you are talking about here but if your bait compartment only partially filled it will Make your kayak unstable in rough conditions. Water is not a ballast unless the compartment is right full and sealed to stay that way.

Having a bait compartment will be like having a swamped kayak and we know how hard they are to control.
