Chris, I stripped my Expedition Single using bungie cords and a few spring clamps. No need to mess with duct tape goo, staple holes, re-worked stations, etc. I used a total of about 12 brads on the whole boat - to tack the sheer strips in place until the second layer of strips was added. Some seem to get really elaborate on this issue, I say keep it simple.
