Does anyone know what grades of Cab-o-Sil are acceptable for use with epoxy? Looking on the package for my stuff from MAS, there is no product designation and there is no detail given at the MAS web site. Cabot lists about twenty different varietes at their web site. They have untreated and treated (with what appears to be a wetting agent) and they have different bulk densites, which would be related to particle size. I have access to large quantities (10-pound bags) of Cab-o-Sil M-5 here at work and I was wondering (without having to do some destructive testing) if this material would work. Thanks in advance.
