West System is a good product, and I used it on my first 2 boats. I used the 105 resin and 207 hardener. I don't think West claims that this is a no-blush mix, but it seems to be low-blush. I would not recommend (and neither does Gougeon) that you use either the 205 or 206 hardeners. They have problems with clouding and Gougeon has acknowledged it. That's why they came out with the 207. If you go with West System, make sure you get 207 hardener. I had no problems with the West System other than the high cost. If you buy 2 gallons of resin and 2 corresponding containers of the 207, you should have plenty to finish the boat (assuming some waste, but not outrageous waste). This will set you back about $220-250 if I'm remembering the pricing correctly.

On the Wee Lassie II that I'm building now, I decided to give the Raka epoxies a try. I've been getting my glass from there, and I had heard good reports about their epoxy, and since it was much cheaper than West, I ordered the 3 gallon kit (2 gallons 127 resin , 1 gallon 350 no-blush hardener) for $130 + shipping. I've been pleased with how it's worked out, and the no-blush has been a real plus. It's a slower cure than the West 105/207 mix, but for me, that's usually a good thing.
