Is there a standard size for a kayak cockpit hole? I assume there must be, otherwise how would spray skirt manufacturers make their product. I'm ready to cut the hole in the deck of my S&G Guillemot, but I don't know how big to make it. I don't plan on using a spray skirt on my local lake (500 acres), but I might want to buy one down the road, and I would hate to have to buy a custom skirt.
