I have a Chessapeake 18.

It took 2 qts. of varnish to finish the entire boat totally bright with 3 coats on each side and a bit of waste. i would assume that 1 qt for the hull may be cutting it a bit close for 4 -6 coats but perhaps. 4 yes, probably not 6 though.
