How about a paddle holder so you have some place to put the paddle when you're fishing?

You could also make a container that is indented into the deck to hold bait/worm sor hooks, kind of like those recessed deck fittings. On the bottom of the container have a drain tube inside the boat that drains out the side of the boat. That's what those recessed fittings should have so that the water will drain out of them.

Don't forget to mount one of those beer can holders that sways with the boat so you won't spill any. You could mount it somewhere in the cockpit out of the way. Maybe you could make an ivory bottom for the can to sit on inside the wire "cage". Watch this get into an off topic subject, do I know how to bait them (pun intended) or what?
