Hi John,
I used 1/2 in holes, but drew the bullseyes on the form dwgs 1st, all in the right place, spray glued the form dwgs on ply and cut and drilled.
The link below will show everything.
I checked the deflection of my string lines last night.(measured upright and then swung over and measured as in pic 4/5). I haven't retightened the string in 8 mos. - The deflection is about 1/128 in. - abt 1/4 the string diam.
